First we take Korea...

Journal Entry: Tue Nov 7, 2006, 5:17 AM
And now for something completely different:

I (and some thousands of Korean kids) will soon have a chance to see some of my buggy photos in a printed and probably bound form: I've been featured in a scientifically oriented magazine for kids!

Oh boy, it's my first publication for MONTHS. I wonder if I should mention it to my boss at all. Alas, nobody can say now I'm not publishing stuff! In your face, old farts of scientific community, I'm reaching to the younger generation now!

Here is the header (and I just hope it doesn't say "tasty snacks of the Western world" or "silly white man plays with his food" or something):

frontpage

Oh, and most of my insects say something in classic balloons. Also, I like the "dynamic lines" around the arms a lot:

mantises_shake_hands_or_something

And now, the scary part: the Evil Man behind the photos. now moms in Korea can cut this part out and threaten their kids with the "Buggy man". Potential side effect - bed wetting.

I'll only add it's purely a charity work. But it feels... good!

Congratulations! Maybe one of those kids that see your wonderful pictures of all those exotic and beautiful creatures will be inspired to become the next Blepharopsis!

If at first you don't succeed, say to hell with it and hire someone ..lol

hehe, the "movement lines" around the mantids are hilarious... what's the moth saying? "Ring a ding ding, bitchez!"
