I love Geckos, those things are fascinating. Did you know a million of the seta on their feet could lift 45 pounds? =) Those seta are only 100 millionths of a meter long! They're so small some scientists think they use molecular bonding forces to cause adhesion, which is stronger than gravity on the small scale.

GREAT picture! These extreme closeups are always excellent when they come together well. Thanks for posting it.

An instant favorite of mine. How can one not empathize with a five fingered hand splayed on the table, all thumbs and no thumbs. Too bad we can't see the knuckles.
