Weird! Not sure where to start with this one...

Why are you looking at just the nuclei (out of curiosity. Is there some scientific reason for wanting to expose them like this?)
...and, What purpose is the actin serving here? I am assuming that the the blue mass(es) on the left margin of the image is actin from the muscles controlling the jaws, but what is is doing in the eyes like that? Are there muscles controlling the facets of the compound eyes? It seems odd how it turns into little beads at the external surface (the facets?) of the eye.

... I suspect this all could be worded better, but then again, I'm a tad tired at the moment. :XD:
