The Goliath Tarantula, Theraphosa blondi - the world's largest spider.
I was blowing on her with my rubber lens duster - and it worked, she lost it and released a cloud of stinging hair from her ass. What most people don't know (and all tarantula breeders are too aware of), combing out urticating hair from the abdomen with hind legs is the first line of defense of most tarantulas. And let me tell you, the Blondi here produces particularly nasty kind, I was going crazy for the rest of the day - my neck and eyes were burning and septum felt like pierced.
